Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion Meets

At the first meeting of the President’s Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion, U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta, Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, and Assistant to the President Ivanka Trump joined leaders from business, labor, educational institutions, trade and industry groups, and public officials to discuss how to expand apprenticeships in America.


Nearly 1,000 events were organized in all 50 states as part of National Apprenticeship Week, an annual observance that highlights the benefits of apprenticeship in closing the skills gap, and connecting more Americans to family-sustaining jobs.
